! Nick Coburn-Palo, Ph.D., has worked as a negotiations trainer at the top levels of global diplomacy, and will now share his insights and learnings with AmCham members. This workshop will identify core skills necessary for impactful leaders to persuade and negotiate across a wide variety of potentially contentious situations. Drawing upon academic research and his many years of experience working with international diplomats, Dr. Coburn-Palo will utilize engaging case studies from the worlds of politics, business, and family life to assist participants in diagnosing problematic dynamics and responding in a manner which creates win-win outcomes.
In addition, as one of top competition public speaking and debate coaches in the world, Dr. Coburn-Palo will also work with participants to improve their capacity to persuade away from the negotiation table, with important applications in the areas of public relations, crisis communication, and personnel management.
