During this coffee talk, Dr. Kharis Templeman will discuss “Taiwan and the Evolving Trade and Security Environment of the Asia-Pacific.” This presentation will include some comments on the state of US alliances in the region, US-Taiwan and Cross-Strait relations, and regional economic and trade partnerships. His remarks will draw on a recently concluded, off-the-record workshop on these topics held at Stanford University. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
