THE EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Every senior manager in every multinational companies knows this by now: For our companies to compete effectively, we need our people to take initiative, think creatively, and deliver world-class performance. The problem?
Ever since AmCham Taipei began conducting its Business Climate Survey, executives in Taiwan multinationals annually identify “creativity/ability to innovate” and “ability to take initiative” as one of the least developed competencies among Taiwan talents. The same executives also identify Taiwan talents as highly trustworthy and industrious. What can explain this apparent paradox: that Taiwan talents are both hard-working and lack initiative, for example?
Through Q&A sessions, video-taped case studies, and hands-on-practice, the speaker will facilitate the discussion so that the participants can clearly identify the main reason why our talents lack initiative and creativity; and then co-create an outline of what we can do to help our people take initiative, think creatively, and deliver world-class performance.
