食品安全衛生近年來逐漸受到大眾的重視,有鑑於此,台北市美國商會特別舉辦食品安全研討會,擬邀請美國在台協會農業組組長彭禮(Mark Petry)、行政院食品安全辦公室主任許輔、以及台灣國際生命科學學會秘書長張月櫻博士與會分享,透過案例分享及討論,幫助台灣的中小企業與國際法規接軌。同時,本研討會也將邀請衛生福利部食品藥物管理署的長官們共同參與,建立良好的溝通平台。

商會期待藉由食安研討會的舉辦,針對風險評估、科學根據、以及差異化管理等方面進行探討,讓與會者更全面的了解國內及國際食品安全規範的發展及落差,經由成功案例的學習來討論如何增加台灣食品業的國際競爭力。
