The slowdown of the Taiwan economy over the last 3 years has impacted Taiwan shopper’s behavior, even affecting spending on the very basic needs of fast-moving consumer goods. As shoppers turn habitual and expect simplicity from brands and retailers, upgrading shopper spending is more difficult than ever.
